Changing Measurement Units and Symbols
You can change the unit of measure and add a symbol to a measurement and have it appear on the drawing.
- Create the markup measure entity that you want.

- Double-click the measurement that you want to change the unit of measure or add a symbol to.
The appropriate Measure dialog box appears.
- Deselect Display Unit check box if you want to hide the unit on the drawing. It is selected by default.
- From the Units list, select the unit that you want to change the measurement to.
- From the Symbol list, select the symbol that you want to add to the measurement.
- Click OK.
The unit of measure changes and the selected symbol is added to the measurement and appears in the workspace.
