Align Widgets Relative to Each Other
When you align widgets relative to each, one of the widgets remains stationary. For example, clicking Align Left aligns the left edges of all selected widgets with the left edge of the last selected widget. To align widgets select at least two widgets, click on Edit in the Main Menu and point to one of the following options:
Align left
Align center
Align right
Align top
Align middle
Align bottom
Distribute widgets equal distance from each other
In order to distribute wigets equal distance you need to select at least three different widgets in the working area. Then select one of the following options in the toolbar:
Distribute vertically
Distribute horizontally
Move a widget forward or backward
Widgets in the canvas are sometimes stacked on top of each other. To move a widget forward or backward over this 'depth' edge, right-click on the widget to open its contextual menu and go to Order menu. Then select the option:
Bring to front
Send to back
Move forward
Move backwards
As an alternative, widgets can be moved forward/backward by pointing them in the Outline panel and then selecting the options "Move up" or "Move down".
Group and Ungroup widgets
Group widgets in order to move and treat them like a single widget. To group or ungroup widgets select two or more widgets and right-click on any of them to open the contextual menu. Select the option:
Group
Ungroup
Move widgets into a Dynamic Panel
Widgets can be moved into a Dynamic Panel so you can have them grouped and move them easily without having their relative position locked as with the groups. To automatically create a Dynamic Panel which contains a set of widgets, first select the widgets and right-click on any of them. Then select the option "Group into Dynamic Panels".
Lock or Unlock widgets
Widgets can be 'locked' so they cannot be moved or resized. To lock or unlock a widget, use the right-click menu on the widget and select "Lock" or "Unlock". You will also find these options enabled in the top toolbar or the Properties panel once the widget is selected.
Rotate widgets
Some widgets can be rotated from its center. The angle of the widget can be changed from the properties panel, or using the handle that appears when a rotable component is selected on the canvas.
These are the type of components that can be rotated: Text, Image, Paragraph, Rectangle, Ellipse, Triangle, Lines, Button, Images map, Summary and Index.
