Create

Creating new records for a Data Master can be easily simulated through the events system. To create a new record instance for a specific Data Master, create the corresponding Data Master action following the steps:

1. Select the widget which will trigger the event on the canvas.

2. Click on 'Add interaction' in the Events panel. A dialog will appear showing all the available actions that can be defined.

3. Click on 'Data Master action'.

4. Select the Data Master you want to add records to and click on the 'New' button. The Expression Builder will appear.

5. Create the expression filling the required parameters with any data sources.

   Example: This expression creates a new user in the Data Master 'Users' using some form inputs on the screen.

   

6. Press Ok to all opened dialogs to apply the changes.

Notice that all the instances you create, modify or delete during simulation will be restored once you stop simulating.
