You can use a selection widget to display the contents of a Data Master.

Displaying Data Master's record instances

To make a selection widget display the Data Master's record instances: Select and drag the selection widget you want to display the Data Master's values on the screen and drop it on the desired Data Master on the Data Masters panel. Alternatively, you can drag the Data Master and drop it on the selection widget on the screen. This process will associate the widget with the Data Master.

You can also associate a selection widget with a Data Master following the steps:

  1. Select the selection widget you want to associate on the screen.

  2. Click on the 'gear' button in the Value field of the Properties panel. A new dialog will open.

  3. Select the option Data Master clicking on the radio button.

  4. Select the desired Data Master from the list.

  5. Click on Ok to apply the changes.

Once associated, the selection widget will display all the Data Master's record instances separating each field value with a coma.

Displaying Data Master's category field values

You can display the values defined for a Data Master's category attribute. To make a selection widget to display these values, select and drag a single-selection widget on the screen and drop it on the desired category attribute in the Data Masters panel. Alternatively, you can drag the category attribute from the Data Masters panel and drop it on the selection widget.

You can also associate a selection widget with a Data Master's category attribute following the steps:

  1. Select the single-selection widget you want to associate on the screen.

  2. Click on the 'gear' button in the Value field of the Properties panel. A new dialog will open.

  3. Select the option Data Master Field clicking on the radio button.

  4. Select the desired Data Master Field from the list.

  5. Click on Ok to apply the changes.

Displaying Data Master's multicategory field values

You can display the values defined for a Data Master's multicategory attribute following the same steps described above for the category attributes. Notice that in this case you will need a multi-selection widget.
