By clicking on Widgets->New Widget Library a popup will apear. Write the name for your widget library, a brief description and an image if needed. After doing this a new widget library will apear. This library is a custom widget library and can be editted (see that there is a 'gear' to the right of the libary's name). My Widget Libraries are customizable widget libraries created by the user, by Justinmind or by third-party widget providers, and can be easily imported and exported to and from any Justinmind Prototyper.
If you want to create a new widgets' group, click on the 'New group' from the contextual menu that shows when you click on the 'gear' next to the Custom Widget Library. A new dialog will appear. Introduce the name in the 'Title' field and press Ok to create the group with the given name.
If you want to change the name of a widgets' group, click on the 'Edit Name/Description' from the contextual menu that shows when you click on the 'gear' next to the Custom Widget Library. A new dialog will appear. Introduce the new name in the 'Title' field and press Ok to apply the changes.
If you want to delete a widgets' group, click on 'Delete' from the contextual menu that shows when you click on the 'gear' next to the Custom Widget Library. If the group has one or more widget, a new dialog asking for confirmation will appear. Press Ok to apply the changes.
The widget library must be in edit mode; to do this click on the 'gear' and select 'Edit Content'. To create your own custom widget, you just need to group all the widgets on the screen your new custom widget should consist of and then drag and drop it on the desired group in your Widget Library. A new dialog asking for the widget's name and image will appear. Introduce a name for your widget and, optionally, select an image to display in the My Widgets panel.
Alternatively, you can right-click on any widget created on the screen and select the 'Add to Widget Library' option from the contextual menu. This time you will also need to introduce the destination widget's group in the pop up that will appear.
Once a custom widget is created you can modify its name, image and the widget's group it belongs to. In order to change these properties, make sure the widget library is in edit mode and right-click on the widget in the 'My Widgets' panel and select 'Edit'.
You can also move a widget between widget libraries and groups by drag and drop when the library/libraries are in edit mode.
If you want to delete a widget, right-click on it while the widget library it is part of is in edit mode and select 'Delete'. A new dialog asking for confirmation will appear. Press Ok to apply the changes.
To export your custom widgets as a library, first click on the 'gear' button next to the library's name and follow the steps:
Click on the 'Export Library' option in the contextual menu. A new dialog will appear to select the groups you want to export and location.
Select from the 'Widget groups list' the groups you want to export moving them to the 'Exported list'.
Click on the 'Browse' button of the 'Browse' field and select the export destination together with the file name.
Select Ok to export the widgets on the 'Exported list' or click on Cancel to close the dialog without applying changes.
To import a custom widget library previously exported, first click on the 'Add/Remove libraries' in the widgets panel (or go to Widgets->Add/Remove Libraries) select 'My Libraries' tab and follow the steps:
Click on the '...' button of the 'Browse' field and select the library file (.jpl extension) from your file system.
Select Ok to import the widgets from the selected file or close the diaog without applying changes.
You can also go to File->Import->Widget Library... and select the library file (.jpl extension) from your file system.
Tip: You can also import a widgets' library by drag and drop: just drag the file from your file system and drop it on the 'My Widgets' panel.
