Command permissions allow the user to execute create commands. The Database Owner assigns command permissions to groups in the databases they own.
Changing command permissions
In the server, click Databases to display a list of available databases.
Select the database you want to expand.
Select the User folder.
Double-click the user name.
The dbo User Properties window is shown displays six tabs:
General – information on the user, type, group, and login.
Objects Owned – the objects owned by the user.
Column Permissions – tables and columns the user has permission to work.
Aliased Logins – logins mapped to this user.
Object Permissions – permissions for tables, stored procedures, views, extended stored procedures, and encryption keys.
Commands – commands the user has permission to use.
Select the Commands tab.
You can also create a default, procedure, rule, table, view, or an encryption key.
Click Apply or OK when finished.
Permission to create a database applies only to users
of the master database.
