The database device property sheet displays identifying information about the database device and lets you manage mirroring and whether or not the device is a default device. You can increase the space allocated for the database device, but you cannot decrease the its size.
The database device property sheet also indicates whether the device is VCS based. For more information on this new functionality refer to the Users Guide. If the property sheet indicates no, then the selected database device is not VCS based.
