Deleting a buffer pool

You can delete any buffer pool except the default pool. If you delete a 4K, 8K, or 16K buffer pool, the space returns to the default pool.

Deleting a buffer pool

Select the cache icon, then select File | Properties.
Select the Buffer Pool tab.
In the Buffer Pools list, select the pool you want to delete, and click Remove.
Click Apply.
