Creating a binding

Binding a database or object to a cache

Select the cache icon, then select File | Properties.
Select the Cache Bindings tab. The tab displays the bound objects that meet the filtering criteria specified in the Show Object Bindings For list.
Filter the list so it includes the objects you want to bind. You can select databases, tables, or indexes.
Click Bind. The New Cache Binding dialog box is displayed.
For tables or views, select the database in which they are located from the Database list.
Select the objects you want to bind to this cache.
Click OK.

Drag the table or database icon from the left pane and drop it onto the cache icon in the right pane.
