Deleting a database

WARNING! Deleting a database deletes the database and all its objects.

Privileges

Only the owner of a database can delete it.

StepsDeleting a database

  1. Select the database icon.

  2. Select Edit | Delete.

  3. Confirm the deletion in the confirmation dialog box.

NoteSybase recommends that you back up the master database after you delete a user database.
