Generating DDL to create a database

When you generate DDL for a database, you generate a script to create the database itself.

Generating database DDL

Select the icon of the database for which you want to generate DDL.
Select File | Generate DDL. Sybase Central generates DDL to create the database and sends it to the editor.

Right-click the database icon. Select Generate DDL | Create Database DDL from the shortcut menu.
