SQL Preview

SQL Preview allows you to display SQL text before running it on Adaptive Server. Adaptive Server is configured to automatically enable SQL Preview. To view the SQL text, click the Preview button in your current wizard or property window. This allows you to verify that your SQL text and scripts will run as you intend them (for example, that objects are named correctly in the scripts). A preview dialog window displays the SQL text. You can edit and save the SQL text to a file.

After reviewing the SQL text, click Execute to submit the SQL text to Adaptive Server or click Schedule to schedule the SQL text for future execution.
