To create an in-memory temporary database, open the Temporary Databases folder. In the List View folder right-click the Temporary In-Memory Database folder and choose New to open the wizard.
Creating an in-memory temporary database
Specify the name of the database. Click Next.
Specify the devices that the in-memory database will occupy. Click Next.
Specify the database options. If the data and log segments are on the same cache device as the in-memory database then you must check the With override box.
Select the temporary database group for this temporary database.
Preview the summary. Click Finish.
