Identifying servers to Sybase Central

To manage Adaptive Server, Sybase Central must know the host name, port, and method of connection. This information is stored either in a sql.ini file or in Directory Services. The sql.ini file is the equivalent of the interfaces file used with Adaptive Server on UNIX platforms. You can update the sql.ini file using an ASCII text editor.
