Shutting down Adaptive Server
Select the icon of Adaptive Server.
Chose File | Shut down. The server automatically disconnects from Sybase Central after the shut down.
If the node is shut down catastrophically, the quorum
device may be corrupted and the green triangle may appear incorrectly
indicating that the instance is running.
Right-click the icon to shut down and select Shutdown.
The Shutdown dialog periodically reminds you of the processes you still have running.You can either:
Close all the ASE plug-in connections to Adaptive Server, or
Wait for another time to shut down.
The Sybase Central ASE plug-in can stop Adaptive Server
on any machine, regardless of where the client is running.
