The Adaptive Server plug-in property sheet displays identifying information about the Adaptive Server plug-in. You cannot edit the information on the General tab.
The Preferences tab of the Adaptive Server Provider Properties dialog allows you to configure various Adaptive Server plug-in properties:
Whether to display features and folders even if they are not licensed
Whether to show informational and warning messages
Whether to check for VCS capability. If you select to have Sybase Central check for VCS capability then the General tab will indicate whether the selected device is VCS based or not.
To change default values, use the Adaptive Server Enterprise Configuration dialog box.
The Restore button sets the options to default settings.
