Granting and revoking column permissions for a group

Use the Groups Folder to assign group permissions for columns of a table.

To view this folder:

1. From the database, select the Groups folder.

2. Select the group icon.

3. Select File | Properties.

4. Select the Column Permission tab.

5. Select a table from the drop -own list. Column permissions are displayed in the table.

   You can grant these permission types for tables:

   • Sel – Permission to select

   • Ins – Permission to insert.

   • Del – Permission to delete.

   • Upd – Permission to update.

   • Ref – Permission to create referential constraints.

   • Decrypt – Permission to decrypt.

   Make the appropriate permission changes

6. Click OK or Apply when finished.

In the Permissions for group section, select the permissions you want to assign the groups.
