The Column Permissions tab of the sso_role Properties dialog box allows you to manage permissions on columns.
To view this dialog box:
Select Server | Roles Folder
Select Select a Role Item | properties.
Select the database that contains the columns you want to manage from the Database list. Select the columns you want to manage from the Columns list.
In the Permissions for columns section, select the permissions you want to assign to the columns.
