Suspending replication allows you to stop all replication operations, without terminating the ASE Replicator process.
Suspending replication instructs the ASE Replicator components to complete their operations on current transactions in the primary database, and then finish replicating all transactions in the Distribution Database queue before terminating.
Suspending replication automatically suspends all subscriptions and all database connections.
To suspend replication with ASE Replicator:
Select the primary Adaptive Server in the left pane.
Right-click the ASE Replicator folder.
Select Suspend.
Click Yes in the Question dialog box.
Instead of suspending replication for all subscriptions and database connections, you can suspend individual subscriptions and individual connections. For more information, see:
