General

The General tab shows the following information about the ASE Replicator process:

• Distribution Database name

• Sybase Central status monitoring

• ASE Replicator version

On the General tab, you can enable or disable Sybase Central status monitoring, and if enabled, you can change the monitoring ping interval.

The Status Monitoring check box indicates the current selection.

To enable Sybase Central status monitoring:

1. If the Status Monitoring check box is not selected, click the Status Monitoring check box to enable Sybase Central status monitoring for the ASE Replicator process.

2. Click OK or Apply to start Sybase Central status monitoring.

To disable Sybase Central status monitoring:

1. If the Status Monitoring check box is selected, click the Status Monitoring check box to disable Sybase Central status monitoring for the ASE Replicator process.

2. Click OK or Apply to stop Sybase Central status monitoring.

To change the status monitoring ping interval:

1. If the Status Monitoring check box is selected:

   • Select the number shown in the Ping Interval box, and then type a new number to specify the number of seconds to wait after each monitoring ping, or

   • Use the scroll arrows beside the Ping Interval box to specify the number of seconds to wait after each monitoring ping.

2. Click OK or Apply to change the Sybase Central status monitoring ping interval.
