  1. Select the Scheduled Jobs folder from the Adaptive Server from which you want to manage your job.

  2. Double-click Add Scheduled Job in the right pane. The Scheduled Job Creation wizard appears.

  3. Follow the steps in the wizard.

    WARNING! Jobs are executed according to the time of the server hosting Job Scheduler. If you are in a different timezone, you need to adjust the schedule time to account for the time difference. For example, if the server’s time is 2 hours ahead of your time, and you want a job to run at 2:00 your time, you need to schedule a start time of 4:00.

    You can create a scheduled job from a Job Scheduler template. To use Job Scheduler templates you must first install them. See Chapter 4, “Using Templates to Schedule Jobs,” in the Job Scheduler Users Guide for more information on templates.
