Managing a scheduled job

Select the Scheduled Jobs folder from the Adaptive Server for which you want to manage a scheduled job.
Right-click the job ID of the job you want to manage. The scheduled job management submenu opens.
Select the management option you want. The options are:
- Disable – temporarily disables a scheduled job. The entry is left in the Scheduled Jobs list with the job and schedule information intact but flagged as disabled. The next and subsequent scheduled executions will not be carried out until the job is re-enabled. Any current execution will continue until complete.
- Enable – enables a scheduled job.
- Run now – executes the job immediately, providing the job is not already running from its usual schedule.�
- Terminate – If the job is executing, terminates the execution.�
- Delete – Removes the scheduled job from sybmgmtdb. The job and schedule that were bound to form the scheduled job are not deleted.
