Consuming a Web service

The Web Services Consumer component enables Adaptive Server Enterprise to access the Web services of other applications. To consume a Web service, use the following procedure.

StepsConsuming a Web service

  1. In the left pane, select the Databases folder for the Adaptive Server Enterprise on which the Web service resides.

  2. Select a database from the Databases folder, and select the Web Services folder.

  3. In the right pane, select the Web Methods tab.

  4. Click the icon for Web Service Consumer. The Web Service Consumer wizard starts.

  5. Follow the wizard instructions to consume the Web service.
