Adding a user-defined Web service

A user-defined Web service can be added using the wizard or using a SQL editor template.

StepsAdding a user-defined Web service by wizard

  1. In the left pane, select the Databases folder for the Adaptive Server Enterprise for which you want to add a user-defined Web service.

  2. Select a database from the Databases folder, and select the Web Services folder.

  3. In the right pane, select the User Defined Web Services tab.

  4. Click the icon for Add User Defined Web Service(wizard). The Add Web Service wizard starts.

  5. Follow the wizard instructions to add a user-defined Web service.

  1. In the left pane, select the Databases folder for the Adaptive Server Enterprise for which you want to add a user-defined Web service.

  2. Select a database from the Databases folder, and select the Web Services folder.

  3. In the right pane, click the User Defined Web Services tab.

  4. Click the icon for Add User Defined Web Service(Template). A SQL editor opens with a template.

  5. Edit the template to suit the Web service you wish to add.
