Mapping ASE and messaging service provider logins

To connect to the messaging service provider, ASE needs to map its logins and roles to the service provider’s logins. This is done on the second page of the provider properties dialog. It is similar to the login mapping in Component Integration Services (CIS) of remote servers.

Open the provider’s property sheet. See Displaying properties for a messaging service provider for details.
Select the Login Mapping tab.
Click Add. The Add Login Mapping dialog appears.
Select ASE login or ASE role.
Specify the Provider login and Remote password. You can also select Default login to designate the mapping for all ASE logins that have not been explicitly mapped.
Click OK.
