NoteThe server name can be an actual server name from the interfaces or LDAP file, or it can be another name containing the host name and port number.

StepsAdding a new server group

  1. As root, open the Add Server Group item or select File | New | Server Group menu item to display the server group wizard.

  2. Name the server, as prompted by the wizard. The server group name is limited to 30 characters. Click Next.

  3. You can add comments about the server group you are creating. There is no length restriction for the comments. When you are finished, click Next.

  4. Select the servers to be added to the new server group. Server groups cannot contain other server groups.

  5. You can modify the properties of a server group by displaying the Properties dialog.

You can connect and disconnect all servers within a server group by selecting Connect All or Disconnect from the server group menu.
