Display the server log

To display the server log, select Properties from the current menu.

The Server Properties dialog contains this information:

Status – the status of the server.
Adaptive Server home – the path to the Adaptive Server release direcotry, usually defined as $SYBASE/SYBASE_ASE on the server host.
Adaptive Server log file - the log file for the Adaptive Server.

To view the Adaptive Server’s log, open the log file in your editor by clicking Get Log.

Alternatively, you can click Server Log tab in the detail pane.

To configure the amount of log entries being retrieved, click Server Log Filter in the menu or the Server Log tab in the server property page.
