The Agent tab of the Server Properties page contains the following information about Unified Agent:
Agent version.
Agent Build – Unified Agent’s version and build number.
Agent started – Date that the agent was started.
Agent home – UA release location.
Agent port number – The RMI (Remote Method Invocation) port number the agent uses. The default port number is 9999. If Adaptive Server plug-in has already connected to the agent, the port number cannot be modified. If Adaptive Server plug-in has not connected to the agent and if you know the port number for the agent, enter it here or select the Find button to find the port number.
Agent plug-in version and build number.
Agent plug-in home – Agent plug-in release location.
User name – user name that the agent plug-in used to connect to Adaptive Server.
Startup command – the script file the agent plug-in used to start Adaptive Server.
Authenticated – the user name the Adaptive Server plug-in used to authenticate with the agent. The user ID and password are authenticated by the agent for each operation carried out by the agent.
Authentication – the security modules that Adaptive Server plug-in can communicate with.
If ASEP cannot retrieve certain attributes or perform certain operations through the Unified Agent due to permission problems, add more authentication information by clicking Authenticate.
