Importing and exporting connection profiles

Sybase Central allows you to import and export connection profiles so that they do not need to be recreated on each computer where they are required. Connection profile file names end with the extension .cpr.

To import a connection profile

  1. In Sybase Central, choose Connections  > Connection Profiles.

    The Connection Profiles window appears.

  2. Click Import.

    The Import Connection Profile File window appears.

  3. Specify the name of the file containing the connection profile you want to import.

  4. Specify whether to share this connection profile with other users and whether to make this connection connect for other users when they start Sybase Central.

  5. Click OK.

To export a connection profile

  1. In Sybase Central, choose Connections  > Connection Profiles.

    The Connection Profiles window appears.

  2. Select the connection profile you want to export.

  3. Click Export.

    The Save As window appears.

  4. Enter a name for the file to which you want to save the connection profile.

  5. Click Save.
