Configuring the message list

You can configure the order of the messages in the Log Viewer, or you can restrict (or filter) the number of messages that appear. You can also clear all messages from the list.

To show all messages

• In the Log Viewer, choose View  > All Events.

To clear all messages

• In the Log Viewer, choose Log  > Clear All Events.

To set the order of the messages

• In the Log Viewer, choose one of the following options from the View menu:

  • Choose Newest First to order the messages starting with the most recent.

  • Choose Oldest First to order the messages starting with the oldest.

To filter the messages

1. In the Log Viewer, choose View  > Filter Events.

   The Filter window appears.

2. Configure the options.
