VersaPro 2.02 configures and programs the following GE Fanuc PLCs : VersaMax, VersaMax
Nano and Micro, Series 90 Micro, the entire family of Series 90-30 PLCs, and the Series
90-70 PLCs.

VersaPro runs under Windows 95/98, Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows Millennium Edition(Me),
and Windows XP Professional. VersaPro is Windows XP Professional edition ready.

VersaPro 2.02 also includes release 2.02 of the Remote I/O Manager software
used to configure VersaMax Network Interface Units (NIUs) and their associated I/O.

VersaPro provides Instruction List (IL) and Relay Ladder Diagram (RLD) programming 
editors for creation of logic, an easy-to-use graphical hardware configuration package, 
and a powerful set of diagnostic and troubleshooting tools. VersaPro also allows users 
of Logicmaster 90-30, Logicmaster 90-70 and Control to import their existing programs.

VersaPro software is designed to be easy to use - that means that you can 
configure a PLC, write logic, connect and store to a PLC within 5 minutes - without 
ever using a manual!

The information that follows provides important useful information regarding the use 
of VersaPro.  Please read this information before using the product.  There is also
a file on the CD titled, "tutorial.pdf", which is useful for first time users.

For the most up to date information about VersaPro please read the Important Product 
Information document (GFK-1671) included with this product.  This document exists 
in electronic form as a Microsoft Word document on the VersaPro CD, and a paper copy 
is included in the original packaging for the VersaPro product.

=============== Installing VersaPro Release 2.01 ===============

2. Put the VersaPro CD in CD-ROM Drive.
3. Select the CD drive from Windows Explorer.
4. Double click Setup.exe 
5. Follow the user prompts to install your software.

Note:  In some instances, users with CIMPLICITY HMI, Control or GE Fanuc's Host 
Communication Toolkit installed on their computer will be prompted to replace 
"shared files" during the installation. To ensure necessary system files are 
not removed from the system, always select the "No to All" button.  

=============== Starting the VersaPro application ===============

The VersaPro application is installed in the GE Fanuc Software Program group.  The 
application can be started by selecting Start|GE Fanuc Software|VersaPro|VersaPro.  
Users can create a shortcut to the VersaPro application and place the shortcut on 
the desktop, or click on a file created by VersaPro (the file in the VersaPro 
folder with a .fld extension), and start the application in the context of the 
selected folder.
VersaPro can also be started by pressing Ctrl-Alt-V.

=============== VersaPro Manual On-Line ===============

The VersaPro Users Guide (GFK-1670) is included on the CD in a Adobe Acrobat (.PDF) 
format.  If you already have the Adobe Acrobat 3.0 Reader, you can access the manual 
from the CD.  Using Windows Explorer, simply double-click on GFK1670.PDF in the 
\User Manual directory of the VersaPro CD.

If you don't have the latest copy of the Adobe Acrobat Reader, or are unsure of 
the version that you do have, a copy of the software is available on the VersaPro CD.  
Using Windows Explorer select Setup.exe in the \User Manual\Viewer\32Bit directory 
of your VersaPro CD.  This program will install the Adobe Acrobat reader, giving 
you access to the VersaPro Users Guide on-line. A paper copy of the VersaPro Users 
Guide, contact your local GE Fanuc distributor to order publication GFK-1670.

VersaPro requires the following minimum CPU revision levels.  Please note that
firmware revision numbers greater than those shown below are supported by VersaPro.
