Deinonychus were carnivores, with 
fossils of its teeth being commonly 
found with fossils of ornithopods 
such as Tenontosaurus.

It is a very famous dinosaur thanks to 
the works of John Ostrom because it 
started a renaissance in dinosaur 
knowledge moving away from the dated 
slow, cold blooded animals to
swift, warm blooded birds.
