There are several global settings used across multiple OverCASE
components that can be
adjusted using the Integrator.
- Printing page setup - although the page setup (e.g. page size,
orientation, margins, etc.) can be specified for an individual
diagram, this is often too time-consuming. The "Options/Printing/Page
setup" Integrator menu command allows you to specify the "default"
page setup, which will then be used for all printed item unless
individually overridden there.
- Many OverCASE applications (such as Linguist, UML modeller, etc.)
allow creation of diagrams, graphically depicting models or parts
thereof. The "Options/Diagrams/Appearance" Integrator menu command
allows to change default colours used by diagram elements (lines,
shape fill, text, etc.) while "Options/Diagrams/Behaviour" Integrator
menu command allows adjusting the behaviour of diagram editors (e.g.
snal shapes and lines to a grid of chosen size, etc.)
- Nearly all textual information entered into OverCASE is
spell-checked. The "Options/Spelling" Integrator menu command allows
you to choose both the spell checking engine and the language that
engine should use for spell checking. Note, that presently OverCASE
only allows one "spell checking language" to be used, so if bits and
pieces of your models are written in several different languages only
one of them will be spell-checked correctly.
