OverCASE Integrator can appear with or without the "quick launch" bar, which can be toggled by the corresponding menu command.

When visible, the "quick launch" bar displays applications and tools selected by the user as the most frequently used ones. At this point, any of these applications or tools can be launched by simply double-clicking it (i.e. without the need to go through the Integrator menu to launch it).

The "Select Quick Launch items" dialog allows you to select which applications and/or tools should appear in the "quick launch" bar. The dialog consists of two panes:

• The pane on the left displays the list of all applications, tools, etc. that can potentially be selected for appearance in the "quick launch" bar.
• The pane on the right displays applications, tools, etc. currently selected for the "quick launch" bar.

There are several ways in which components can be selected or unselected for the "quick launch" bar.

• Selecting an individual component (application, tool, etc.) in the "available components" pane and then pressing the ">>" button moves that component to the "selected components" pane.
• Selecting an individual component in the "selected components" pane and then pressing the "<<" button will remove that component from the "selected components" pane.
• Selecting the higher-level node (e.g. "Applications") in one of the panes and then pressing the ">>" or "<<" button performs the corresponding action on all components under that node (e.g. on all applications).
• Double-clicking on a component in the "available components" pane moves that component to the "selected components" pane.
• Double-clicking on a component in the "selected components" pane removes that component from the "selected components" pane.

Note that some applications, tools, etc. require special privileges to use. If you have logged in to OverCASE using the login account without these privileges, you will not see these privileged components in the dialog panes (as a matter of fact, you will not see them in the Integrator's menu, etc.)
